St Joseph’s College is once again celebrating the outstanding achievement of its A-level students as the DFE School Performance tables rank the College as the highest achieving school in Ipswich. St Joseph’s is graded ‘well above average’ for A-level achievement, with a score of 0.37: one of only two educational establishments in Suffolk to earn that designation.
Mrs Clarke, Principal of St Joseph’s College, said, ‘I am incredibly proud of our students and staff who have worked so hard to achieve these amazing results. The grading is recognition of the value added by the school. St Joseph’s values the individual and, rather than hothousing our students, we inspire and encourage them to reach their personal best. Together with above national average attainment at GCSE, the school’s Department for Education ranking endorses the supportive, holistic and personalised approach to learning at St Joseph’s.’
