With results surpassing those of 2019, the last time students were assessed externally, St Joseph’s College Ipswich is celebrating this morning. Mr Cinnamond, the school’s Deputy Principal, said, ‘This year group is chock-full of great characters who have been a pleasure to teach. We are delighted with their overall attainment and impressive individual successes. We look forward to great things as they progress on to the wide range of options St Jo’s offers at Sixth Form.’
Mr Cinnamond also praised the accomplishments of the Year 7 and Year 8 students receiving their Foundation Project Qualification and Higher Project Qualification results. These research-based qualifications hone study skills and the HPQ is a GCSE standard level 2 qualification.
‘It is wonderful to see these younger students working at such an advanced level and preparing themselves early for the GCSEs, A-levels, BTEC/CTEC and Extended Project Qualifications they will sit in years to come,’ he added.
