When did you first realise that you had a passion and flair for Textiles?
Even though I’ve only been doing textiles since the start of this school year, I have always enjoyed creative subjects and am looking forward to exploring art in a new way, through textiles.
What inspires you?
Nature is a huge inspiration for my work, I find the patterns and textures really interesting. Textile artists and fashion designers who focus their work around nature also really inspire me.
How would you describe your work?
I would describe my work as unique and inventive, I like to use bold colours and patterns to make my work stand out.
What ambitions do you have for your textiles?
For my future textiles work, I am really aiming to step out of my comfort zone and try lots of different techniques and mediums.
What advice would you give younger artists?
My advice for younger artists is to take risks and centre your artwork around something that interests you as these will be more rewarding.
